Job Description

    Job DescriptionActivitiesMount SMT components onto the printed circuit boards using pick and place machines.Load program on machine(s)Load feeders according to setup sheet using WI or machine manual.Understand feeder sizes and pitchesPerform machine operator processes (startup, loading a recipe, adjusting the conveyor belt, production runs, shutdown, and alarms).End to end process knowledge and adherence and responsible till product deliveryMakes minor machine adjustments such as placement of parts, measurement of components and change or correct package size, clears machine jams.Component Identification knowledgeVerify components & feeder on job cartRestock parts by bin locationOperating stencil printer machines, reflow oven, and conveyorsInspecting paste and places parts on the boardAssembly tasks such as potting, cleaning, gluing, coating and epoxy bonding.Positions PCBs on machine bed holding fixtures, starts machine, and monitors machine operationMaintaining all the machines and equipment on production floor as per ISO standardsHandling of Complete SMT/THT Assembly / ProductionAbility to run AOI machine independently; startup, loading recipe, adjusting conveyor belt, production runs, shutdown, and, Inspection and X-Ray equipmentAnalyzing the requirement and preparing the production process as per requirementRecords production information such as production levels, machine downtime, and defects.Know How on All SMT and THT MachineryKnow how on latest package assemblies and profilesOverview knowledge of IPC-A-610Appreciate holding IPC 610-F certificationConduct in-process inspectionKnowledge of inspection process, inspect one section at a time, looking at component placement, orientation, polarity, value and missing partsVisually inspect assembly for obvious damage, non-conformance, cleanliness, component mounting and installation, and soldering qualityRoutes defective boards to repair departmentRework, Repair and Modification of PCB assemblies as per instructions and testing as per test criteria specified.To maintain 5S in workplace/Lab.Documentation and follow the defined processes.Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance of Machines and lab equipment.,
