Job Description

    Job DescriptionService Design and Onboarding new projects (Participation in Due Diligence, defining roadmap for Service onboarding, Support in development of transition plan, competency development, facilitate takeover of task and go-live support)Implementing regulations and standards for ITM (IT for Manufacturing) based on defined concepts and processes, ITM Device Management and implementing relevant configurationsCoordination and Collaboration with plant management/technician, supplier, vendors and relevant ITM departmentsImplementation and continuous support of IT applications for manufacturing, creating central specifications for IT conceptOptimization of IT infrastructure management processes (according to ITIL)Guide Costumer in on-boarding activities to Cloud environments and help customer to get the application hosted on available cloud offersIT Application consulting during Mergers, Integration and Carve-out projectsTechnical Escalation support, Collaboration with onsite /offshore team, Technical documentation, Automation and Training deliveryQuality delivery of services committed to the customer as per the defined Service Levels and KPI sSupport in Proposals preparation for new and existing servicesShould be able travel to customer location for business needs, Provide On-Call readiness support on need basisQualificationsStrong understanding of distributed systems and client-server architecturesStrong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills, including strong knowledge of how the various components work (kernel, CPU, memory, disk, network)Architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions on Azure or AWS platformsExperience in Containerization & Orchestration (Docker/ Kubernetes/ Rancher)
    • Infrastructure automation and DevOps tools (Ansible/ Terraform/ Puppet / Jenkins/ Argo CD)
    Scripting to build required automation using PowerShell / Shell / Python / Perl / BashApplication and Infra Monitoring tools (ICINGA / SPLUNK / New Relic / AppDynamics)Network infrastructure (VPN, IPsec, Firewall, Load balancing setup and Security implementation)
    • Basic Database Administration (MariaDB / MySQL / MongoDB)
    IT for Manufacturing - i4.0 concepts
    • Working knowledge of various tools and open-source technologies
    • ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem management)
    • Strong presentation skills and experience in intercultural communication and cooperation
    • ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation certification preferred
