. Hands on strong experience in VMware ESXi; ESX; vCenter 4; 5; 6 is mandatory. This experience should include the planning; deployment; configuration and administration of host systems and virtual machines both on Windows; Linux and Oracle based platforms. (OVM s). 8 + years with working and hands on experience with the implementation and administration of Microsoft Windows 2012; 2008/R2 server systems; RHEL; OVM both virtual and physical. Experience and good working knowledge on Networking and Security is strongly desired.. Practical knowledge on Windows Server 2008/2012/2016; Linux administration skills. Active directory 2008/2012/2016 administration; should have worked in Remote server management support environment; should have hands on experience on Active directory 2008/2012/2016 administration; Manage user and accounts. Exposure to virtualization or Enterprise hardware - Strong technical experience with industry standard x86_X64 server hardware. Virtualization technologies and concepts - VMware s vSphere 4; 5;6. Installations for security patches; functional patches and version upgrades; performance tuning of ESX server. Document support processes; Interact with low; medium and higher teams like application; database; service desk and other management teams for verification of solutions.. Work together with the incident; change and problem management teams; security; application and database teams; identify the server venerability issues and resolving them.. Responsible for restoration of VM s; OVM s data. VMware ESXi. Proficient on VMware technologies like: -VMware High-Availability; VMware vMotion; VMware DRS; VDS; Affinity rules; vCenter; storage configurations and migrations; P2V migrations VMWare vCenter and vCenter Update Manager and Web Console. NTP; TFTP; SMTP; DNS; DFS Server administration and support; DHCP; Group Policy; Active Directory & storage and backupRecovery managing and monitoring all the network configurations for hosts. Perform ongoing performance tuning; hardware upgrades; and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU; memory; and disk partitions as required. Experience in IT Service Management; data centre; server; and storage management; virtualization; Citrix; networking; systems management; and/or project management are recommended. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quick problem resolution. Previous experience working in an operations centre is strongly desired. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may include nights; weekends or holidays as required. Must be process and detail oriented with the ability to multitask; participate in 12x7 on-call rotation schedule.. Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills with the ability to determine problems and act without supervision. Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers both Windows; OVM and flavors of RHEL. Experience with large-scale migration and implementation enterprise projects.. Self starter and should be able to guide customer and define industries best practices.,
