Job Description

    Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities
    • Delivering best quality software with best software practices in place.
    • Build, manage and mentor the development team.
    • Interface with our external customers to understand requirements, set priorities and communicate direction and progress
    • Provide technical leadership for every aspect of software
    • Manage the agile development process and methodology to deliver value to customers
    • Help develop long-term development and business technology strategies
    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree or higher in a technical field, such as computer science, information technology, engineering or related discipline
    • Min. 4+ years of experience in Software development using Java/J2EE Technologies
    • Java/J2EE Certification is must
    Primary Skills:
    • Strong hands-on object-oriented programming experience in Java 8.
    • Experience building web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Sprint boot & Hibernate
    • Experience in jQuery, HTML, CSS & any one of the JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)
    • Well acquainted with Agile methodologies.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Working knowledge on Atlassian Suites. Preferable any certification on Atlassian is good.
    • REST API Development & API documentation. Using swagger will be a plus.
    • Experience in using collaborative platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, Bit Bucket.
    • TDD approach with Junit & PowerMock/Mockito frameworks.
    • Experience in troubleshooting production issues using thread dumps, heap dumps, log analysis tools like Splunk.
    Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication skill & ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
    • Curios, Self-motivated and eager to learn.
    • Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills to handle various critical situations
    • Experience in customer facing role
