This position will involve purchasing activities including expediting and managing on-time procurements of components in alignment to the forecasted planning related to the multistage pumps.
Responsibilities Requirements:
Position Requirements
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Coordinates with Operation regarding all incoming jobs requiring inspection, cleaning etc.
Generate and release purchase order to supplier for assignment parts/commodities based on planning.
Source develop new suppliers as needed
Request for quote ( RFQ ) for machining parts and negotiate pricing
Continuous monitor with account payable to receive payment issue
Manage supplier scorecard for assigned commodities and coordinate supplier CIP initiative.
Initiate for material saving.
Analyze and interpret in order to make purchasing decision.
Analyze supplier capability, to improve process by implementing lean process at supplier end.
Check customer data for correct purchasing commodities.
Ensure that inspection work scope is completed and reviewed using standard work procedure.
Co-ordinate with quality, production for making parts available for shop work, in-plant material movement.
Initiative for development of new product with correct quality in a competitive manner.
Coordinating with shop floor, machine shop as per daily need.
Internal movement of material, documentation with clear communication.
