Job Description

    Responsibilities The Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer is responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting B2B and B2C applications on public clouds such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and on-premises infrastructure such as VMware and Hyper-V. Individuals with at least 3+ years of experience on relevant technologies, along with advanced communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities
    • Administration, configuration, and tuning .NET solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure and on-prem infrastructure
    • Maintain and improve a robust logging, health monitoring and alerting strategy for all applications managed using tools such as Application Insights, and Azure Monitor
    • Implement proven strategies for Backup, Restore, Disaster Recovery, and high-availability for cloud-based environments
    • Security hardening for all applications managed
    • Troubleshooting and resolution of production issues related to application performance, security, or network connectivity
    • Monitor and ensure applications exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability
    • Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management using tools such as Azure DevOps pipelines, Windows PowerShell
    • Familiarity with Identity and Authentication solutions such as Azure AD, Active Directory, SSO/Federation
    • Work independently and demonstrate creativity, innovation, and high performance
    • Contribute to internal process, procedures, and knowledge base for infrastructure support
    Requirements
    • B.E. or B.Tech preferred. B.Sc. candidates can apply, provided if they have relevant skillset and experience
    • Preferred working knowledge of .NET, Windows Server, Linux, IIS, SQL Server
    • Working knowledge of Cloud and Datacenter technology: Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V, VMM, System Center
    • Experienced in Microsoft Azure services such as Compute, Storage, Network, Security, App Services, SQL, and Azure Monitor
    • Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification preferred
    • Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Batch Files scripting.
    • Relational databases (like SQL Server) and SQL queries hands-on experience preferred
    • Identify, triage, and/or resolve complex technology issues in an enterprise environment
    • Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent problem management skills and relentless drive for root cause and execute measures to reduce repeat occurrence.
