Requirements A passion for making sense of lots of unstructured data Experience with NLP, classification, graph mining, and/ or recommender systems Proficient with SQL and experience with one or more DB query clients (e.g. MySQL) Matlab, MapReduce, and R (essential) MSc in Machine learning or Artificial Intelligence (Very advantageous) Hands on experience in Big Data implementations using Hadoop. Experience in the entire project life cycle - from concept/ POC to build/ test to production Strong technical experience in Big Data Architectures using Hadoop, Hive/ Hbase, ETL/ ELT (essential) Experience in large unstructured database framework (MONGODB, NOSQL) Experience with social media data collection and processing (GNIP experience will be advantageous) Ability to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms and architectural options to be able to document use cases, solutions and recommendations Experience working directly with business Technical Knowledge on SAP source, Teradata, Qlikview Responsibilities include: Provide essential implementation/ development input. Understand the big picture and recommend a robust and flexible architecture options. Demonstrate subject matter expertise in various data technologies Perform extensive assessment covering architectural and technical aspects on the companys current state of technology Work well as a team player with other leads and developers whilst contributing in deliverables and assist the company towards its success.,
