Job DescriptionORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTUREBUSINESS: EnergyDIRECT REPORTING: Team LeadFUNCTIONAL REPORTING:POSITION DETAILSPosition SummaryProvide mechanical concept to prototype design, design calculations, technical analysis for Ball valves and other similar products. Provide direction and coordination to other design engineers in the team to successfully complete design relating ball valves and its related products.Principal ActivitiesBall valve automation experience and preparing the automation diagrams, hook- up schematics, etcMust possess superior engineering skills and be capable of interacting with all engineering disciplinesExcellent 3D modelling and associative 2D 3D drafting skills using one or more CAD tools such as Solid works or equivalent Engineering software tool.Good knowledge required in using MathCAD toolHands- on knowledge in GD&T, following ASME Y14.5 standard is desirableShould have good exposure to ISO / PED related activities.Must have Knowledge of various manufacturing processes , materials , heat treatment of materialsExposure to design calculations to find the flow analysis, torque & structural integrity of valve components.Very good knowledge in materials and specifications used in the Ball valves for various parts combined with different applications like high/ low temperature different flow medium and other requirementsGood knowledge in manufacturing and assembly of these valvesKnowledge in preparation of assembly procedures, test plansKnowledge in using any one of the ERP systems like QAD, IFS, SAP, ORACLE and entering the BOM data in the systemShould have good communication skills and have prior experience in preparing project plans, progress status reports, track and maintain the important KPIs like on time delivery & first time right.Positive attitude as a responsible team player.Commitment to high quality, high productivity and continuous learning.Good written and oral communication skills.Job RequirementsCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesEstablish design criteria, prepare design specifications, calculations, performance and qualification test plans, create 3D models & 2D drawings relating to Ball valves and other similar products.Strong skills and knowledge in international standards, systems and codes like ASME, ANSI, FCI, EN, ASTM, NACE etc., including material selection.Education & ExperienceTypically requires a minimum level of knowledge that is acquired through a four- year college degree in an applicable field and three years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.CIRCOR is an EEO Employer of Females/ Minorities/ Veterans/ Individuals with Disabilities,
