Job Description

    Job DescriptionContinuous Integration/Continuous Deployment EngineerThe CI/CD Engineer will be responsible for building an end-to-end solution in the area of automated build, testing and deployment.Position Description:Will code and configure toolsCreate and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple development technologies (Java/.net/JS/Python) and environments.Establish CI/CD pipelines to fully automate deployment of applicationsMust have a good understanding of systems, data structures, modern scripting and enterprise level languages as well as open source tools that can and should be leveraged to solve problemsBuild tools for deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and test environmentsDesign, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processesDevelop policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.Preferred:Understanding development good practices/clean codeExperience with Jenkins and pipelines as codeExperience with Groovy/JavaExperience with Azure DevOps/GitHub actionsExperience with build tools (Maven/Ant/Gradle, Psake/MS-Build, Gulp/Grunt, Gradle)Experience with build-time dependency management. Experience with artifacts management tool i.e. ArtifactoryExperience with unit testing and code-coverage toolsGood understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in Agile-based Continuous Integration environments.Experience with Code Quality tools (SonarQube, SAST)Experience with deployment tools for multi stack env. (Octopus Deploy, Automic ARA)Experience with virtualization/containers technologies (Docker, K8s)Experience with system provisioning and configuration management automation (Ansible/Terraform)Extensive working experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systemsExperience in automation, configuration management and testing via scripting/programming. Experience with Bash/PowerShellUnderstanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies including Scrum/KanbanExperience with source, build/release, and configuration management in a continuous integration & delivery environmentExperience in using defect and project tracking tools (JIRA)Experience with OSS Management (BlackDuck, FOSSID) and Vulnerabilities ScanningAdditional informationRole and Responsibilities:Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applicationsDelivering high availability and performance by contributing in all phases of the development lifecycleConducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debuggingManaging Java and Java EE application developmentParticipate in production of detailed functional design documents to match customer requirements.Review design documents for services such as Service Design Document, Service physical Document and define Service SLAs in Non-functional requirements.,
