OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
• To Provide support to line management in implementation of EHS activities of integrating EHS with business
• To manage the Environment Systems in reducing the environmental impacts on our operationsRESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting in Implementing EHS policy s on site.
• Supporting the Management Team in performing EHS Weekly Inspections / Safety observation Visits at Site level and Documenting.
• Assisting in the EHS Induction Training and other EHS related trainings for staff, visitors, sub-contractor and workmen.
• Supporting in conducting EHS Risk Assessment and reviewing Work Method Statements for integrating applicable EHS requirements in them
• Supporting by liaising with other stake holders in collecting Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly data s for EHS reporting on Teranga.
• Assisting / Coordinating audits related to EHS and Follow up and closing of all actions
• Supporting in Monitoring GPI/Crossed GPI s
• Conducting Monthly EHS Corner Meetings
• Supporting, in Organizing the Events i.e. Health checkup, camps ,.etc.
• Supporting in the EHS Compliance activities
• Assisting other Functional stake holders in identifying the EHS training needs and defining the training modules.
• Supporting technical inspection of equipment/tools, concerning EHS
• Monitoring / Supporting COVID Control measures
Qualifications & Skills:EDUCATION
• ME Industrial Safety with 1-2 years of experience
• To have Safety / Environment course (Long term)
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
• Analytical Skills
• Good Excel skills
• Follow-up skills
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
• Experience 1-2 Years of Experience in Manufacturing Industry with the knowledge of industrial safety practices and its effectiveness in day to day working.
• Experience in EHS Legal requirements
• Knowledge of EMS Standards
