Key Responsibilities:Review Schematics, Layout and component specs towards product performance standardsPerform simulation on models before prototyping.Design Hardware test plans and test cases to validate new products and improve existing products.Perform product validation and verification of hardware in field or lab environment.Use various debug tools to conduct failure analysis (FMEA, DFM, MTBF)Develop new test procedures and enhance existing ones to ensure products reliability and usability.Analyze all products to identify any manufacturing defect and resolve all hardware issues in coordination with development engineers.Prepare and submit reports on progress and status of all testing procedures.Ensure compliance to electrical safety procedures and rules are strictly adhered.Provide training to factory workers on Assembly, testing and debugging products.Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will haveGraduation: Minimum BE/BTech ElectronicsCertifications Preferred: Training or certification course on EMI/EMC from reputed institutes, SCRUM, IPC ;Total Experience in years: 4 to 6 years (with at least 3+ years in EMI/EMC testing, debugging and qualifying product in internal and external EMI/EMC laboratory).Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will haveThe ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas.It is not expected that the candidate will have experience in all these areas, but will be willing and able to quickly develop required skills as needed.* Experience with structured product development methodologies, e.g. Stage Gate, Waterfall, Agile, Lean Development, etc. is highly desirable* Hands-on experience with problem solving, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.* Candidate should have hands-on experience in using Laboratory tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic analyzers etc.* Proficient with microcontroller designs and digital circuit designs including but not limited to 32 bit microprocessors and related peripherals, CPLD, FPGA and related peripherals,* Tools proficiency, electrical: schematic entry, digital timing closure, FMEA, signal integrity and analog circuit simulation, (Cadence)* Tools proficiency, general: Computer (Excel, Visio, MS Project, etc.) and configuration management tools.* SMPS Power supply design* IEC standards, IPC standardsPreferred or a Plus would be* Exposure to Agile HW development process is a plus,* Working Knowledge of JiraDomain (Preferred Industry) Automotive, Industrial,
