Job Description

    Dear All,Greetings!!Looking for Head - Feed & NutritionExperience: 10 to 15 YearsQualification: MVSC - Animal NutritionLocation: CoimbatoreResponsibilities:
    1. Responsible for providing optimal Nutrition formulation to achieve the maximum productivity of breeder & broiler birds.
    2. Responsible for providing least-cost formulations without compromising the feed Quality.
    3. Responsible for providing the right formulations for the production of speciality eggs as per the product nutritional claim.
    4. Responsible for periodic monitoring of gut health of the birds for undertaking required modifications in Feed formulation to achieve desired productivity levels.
    5. Responsible for conducting trials in control groups pertaining to Nutrients, Additives, RM, and Feeds to provide optimal nutrition to the birds at a cost-optimal level.
    6. Responsible for validating the efficacy of new products developed by PDD and providing feedback/suggestions for product improvement.
    7. Responsible for standardisation of quality parameters for incoming RM & finished goods and ensuring adherence of the same across feed mills.
    8. Responsible for validating the feed milling process and suitably advising the production team on required changes to ensure feed texture as per Quality norms.
    9. Responsible for review and up-gradation of existing QA Labs / establishing new labs based on the business requirements as per QA Standards.
    10. Responsible for development, standardisation & implementation of all SOPs pertaining to the testing of RM, finished products, trial farms & guidelines for formulations.
    11. Collaborate with SCM team in vendor validation for selection of right vendors for procuring of quality RM.
    12. Advising the SCM team for the purchase of RM as per the least-cost formulation from time to time.
    13. Hold periodic performance reviews with the team and suitably guide them in achieving the desired business results.
    14. Establish and sustain robust communication with internal Stakeholders (Zonal Heads / Procurement heads) for ensuring the best nutrition at optimal cost.
    15. Ensure continuous development of employees and are appropriately motivated to carry out their required responsibilities
    16. Responsible for ensuring periodical field visits to Farms for obtaining feedback and providing solutions for feed/nutrition-related issues/development.
    17. Ensure continuous development of employees and are appropriately motivated to carry out their responsibilities.
    18. Keep abreast of the latest trends in the industry by effectively networking with internal/external stakeholders for proactive decision-making. Coach and Mentor, the team for achieving the desired business results in the most engaging manner.
