Job Description

Language Editor Candidate Profile:
- 1. 6 36 months of experience in Copy Editing / Language Editing of STM Journals / Books, with high emphasis on quality
- 2. Excellent English skills (verbal & written), an eye for detail, proficiency in Microsoft Word
- 3. Enthusiastic learner and passion for reading / editing, flexible to work in rotational shifts (no night shifts for women employees)
Job Profile:
- 1. Edit author manuscript for spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, and rephrasing sentences as needed
- 2. Edit and ensure that the document conforms to the publishers language and style requirements
- 3. Language editing of Journals / books with high emphasis on quality
- 4. Responsible for doing regular checks of files copy edited by the Editor trainees and give them appropriate feedback
- 5. Identify bugs in tools and record in the e-support tool
