Job Description

    JD FOR Manager- STORES && LOGISTICSExp: 4 10 YearsRemuneration: 20-30Location: Coimbatore, Tamil NaduEducation: Any GraduateJob Requirements Manage and upkeep of Stores. Stocking, BIN, Rack and Stack management in store according to Item, Item code andidentification Proper packaging and repackaging for dispatch with dispatch labels Managing stock in computer/ Tally/ ERP Material receiving, GRN and process of purchase bills/ challan Return of faulty material received from suppliers and send information about this/ orshortages received to suppliers with copy to Finance/ Accounts Material dispatch as per approved Sales order and Invoices MIS and daily reports Stock levels management and high light low/ excess stock Co-ordinate with Customers/ Suppliers/ Logistics Company for Shipments. Find logistics solutions, agents, tempo , truck, auto with lower costs and better services Arrange Loading and unloading of regular and bulk material. Ensure timely and proper shipments under proper and detailed shipping instructionsand documentation and receipt of correct shipping documents including LR/ BL/builtyetc. Sending shipping documents to respective customers and sales person timely. Track shipments both inbound and outbound on daily basis Kitting for Production and issuance Segregation of faulty and re-workable material and coordinate for reworking keep trackof them Periodically stock take and discrepancy reports. Ensuring proper documentation as per regulatory and legal requirements like invoice,packing list, Eway bill, custom documentation, labelling etc. Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet productionrequirements. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, orcustomer issues. Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory orlegal requirements. Taking physical stock on monthly basis. Check the Purchase Order and see the delivery date of goods and be prepared forunloading and stacking and also keep a track of the delivery dates. Daily reporting and discussion with other departments for smooth functioning on thestore.The candidate must possess the following key skill sets: Proven working experience in a Store && Logistics. Record of successful distribution and logistics management. Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff and third party logistics provider Proficient in computers and software Process driven, Disciplined, loyal and trustworthy Good grasping power, Sharp memory, keen to learn Ability to work independently and handle multiple task
