Job Description

  • To Manage the Warehouse of the Company.
  • To take care of all the aspects related to the main dispatch centre of the company.
  • To take care of the regular operations like looking after the inwards , dispatches , paper work , manpower planning and handling etc
  • Additionally the candidate has to Manage the Fleet of multiple vehicles owned by the company.
  • Negotiation with transporter.
  • Timely deliveries as per marketing plan.
  • Track movement of vehicles to ensure deliveries to correct destinations.
  • Coordinate with Marketing department, and Transporters for smooth logistics.
  • Timely agreements for renewal of transport contracts.
  • Ensure all statutory compliances including issuance of Invoice, way bills for loaded vehicles, Reporting deviations, if any.
  • Ensuring stake holders satisfaction, feedback and support.
  • Responsible for incoming & outgoing Logistics including complete vendor management, budgets, shipments etc
  • Negotiate shipping rates, all transport management, ensure correct transport related paperwork, sales invoices, Letter of Credit etc
  • Ensure contracts are legally wetted; check purchase orders with special logistics or billing requirements, local regulatory compliances
  • Close interaction with domestic sales team for collections, with International offices where necessary, Indian customers and all internal stake holders
  • Control & reduce large logistics budget, approve all expenses, VAT paid in different jurisdictions, local freight etc
