• Responsible for the Operation & maintenance of Utilities, Maintenance of Motor Production Equipment s, Tools maintenance, Calibration management, Spares management to support the production to achieve the takt time.RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for all regular maintenance of Winding machines, Bending machine, Tapping machine, Welding machines, Induction brazing machine, Rotor balancing machine, VPI Equipment, VMC, HMC, Rotor machining lathe, Pneumatic and hydraulic equipments.
• Responsible for the operation and for all regular maintenance service activities for ETP, Cranes & Hoists, Torque tools, Heating Ovens, Torque tools, Paint booth, CMM, Assembly equipments, Pumps, etc.
• Spares management Listing out the spares, coordination for procurment, Stock audit etc.
• Handling of Maintenance Mangement software
• Ensuring PM schedule & adherence, Maintain the PM documents, Pipeline layouts, SOP as per the APSYS requirements.
• Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors/suppliers for Maintenance related activities
• Supporting for the maintenance of all test benches & relevant Utilities like Power systems & Earth pits to support the production to achieve the takt time.
• Ensuring statutory & compliance requirements related F&M function.
• Prepare for the Opex Budget and submit to Finance
• Identify the improvement opportunities for improving the QCD of Site performance
• Have strategic plan with indirect sourcing to have sustainable actions
• Work within expense limits established as budget planned in Opex
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program .
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Responsible for alerting/reporting the Senior Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with company, local, State and other Federal guidelines.
• Lead a team of Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technicians
• Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments.
• Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule.
• Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
• Deployment of TPM and Industry 4.0
• It is also in charge of technical support required on the maintenance site to achieve preventive & Corrective maintenance (daily assistance, participation to courses as trainers )
• He/She defines the short, medium and long term strategy scheduling the different activities required vs life cycleQualifications & Skills: EDUCATION
• BE Mechatronics/Electrical
• 12 to 15 years of experience. Motor Industries experience is an added advantage
