Job Description

    Job DescriptionThis position is based out of BOSCHs Coimbatore office. Other details listed as follows:Business and strategic responsibilities within Corporate Function:
    • SPOC for managing Transport services, lead the team of transport subordinates & guide them to ensure the associate needs are met.
    • Supporting for transport arrangements for Multiple locations in different states in India.
    • Candidate should be well-versed in modern technologies / platform of Transport management
    • Candidate should have exposure in managing user experience / touch points.
    • Candidate should be from large organization having multi-location offices having 10000 + associates.
    • Understand the scope of Transport service and develop new processes, procedures in consultation with the management to ensure that the Transport Services provided are efficient & cost effective.
    • To ensure necessary trainings are planned as per schedule and to train the transport team and the drivers on various transport topics
    • To ensure all reports, checklist, statutory compliance are adhered at all times & analyses the transport costing and highlight to the management accordingly.
    • Member of Local crisis management group representing Transport Department.
    • Ensure smooth functioning of transport system round the clock at all the sites.
    Operational Responsibilities:
    • Planning, and execution of above said activity as per Company requirements
    • Budget planning, monitoring and control of transport services
    • Focusing on digitization and automation/technology drive for transport areas.
    • Compliance to Service Levels for all the above said activity as per Company and Department Goals
    • MSR updates & presentations
    • Identify new and innovative methods to curtail costs, Data validation, analytics & report generation as per need
    • Ensure necessary audits are carried out to maintain the quality standards
    People Management:
    • Plan development program(s) for Group subordinates.
    • Lead by examples; adhere to quality culture and organizational values.
    • Interfaces and influencing
    • Coordination for service level fixation for vendors along with CP/PIR
    • Supporting for selection of vendors to the above said related activities along with Central team.
    • People & Driver management (Externals, etc.) RTO Coordinating on all RTO works at BANGALORE, COIMBATORE, HYDERABAD & PUNE locations.
    • Fuel card updating timely expenditure statement for company credit card.
    • Coordinating with technology vendor and focusing on digitization under core area of transport.
    • To be able to handle other assigned administrative tasks,
    • Should be able to do multitasking.
