Job Description

    Java/J2EE Developer / Technical Lead Demonstrates a good knowledge of software programming techniques, which include the understanding of various programming paradigms (eg. procedural, object oriented, functional, and logic) and their associated development tools in order to create software code implementations of a given design. Has developed algorithms for implementing moderately complex code. Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for all activities related to the successful planning, documenting, testing and implementation of all work performed by the team, whether by the request of the client, internal to the department or the result of a problem relating to an application.
    • Manages and oversees the execution of project plans for the scope and ensures adherence to all department and technology standards and procedures, including all documentation requirements.
    • Creation of the High Level Design and leading detailed level design for all building blocks in scope based on the requirement definition by the client/ internal manager. Leading all technical PoC and Pilot activities.
    • Translate business requirement into man-day estimate for technology deliverables.
    • Develop and maintain documentation and operational procedures required to sustain the operation of in-scope services.
    • Contribute to the design, test and implementation of new solutions where change is required to in-scope technology services.
    • Assist Project manager / Project Lead in project coordination.
    • Responsible for all documentation artifacts required to transition technical responsibility from the project team to the production support team.
    • Complete documentation of all the solution design and code developed that explains the functionality and helps in future.
    • Review all the components / code developed by the developers to ensure there are no gaps to the requirement. Provide necessary feedback to the team based on the review.
    • Ensures the assigned tasks/ modules are delivered by the team as per the project plan.
    • Maintain a good knowledge of current best practice and technologies, assessing emerging technologies and standards for relevance to the business needs.
    Requirements :
    • Bachelors of Engineering or Bachelors of Technology or equivalent qualification is a must.
    • 5 15 Years of IT relevant industry experience.
    • Proven experience in Core Java, J2EE technologies with expertise in Spring Core, Spring IDC, Spring MVC and Spring AOP is required. Experience in Spring Security would be a plus.
    • Experience working with Microservices Architecture, Spring Boot is required.
    • Strong experience in WebServices (Rest/ SOAP) is required.
    • Experience in developing REST and SOAP web services using Jersey/REST easy/Apache CXF, Spring, Spring REST templates
    • 1 2 years of working experience in AngularJS is a must.
    • Solid knowledge of design patterns like Facade, Adapter and other J2EE integration patterns.
    • Experience in writing unit and integration tests using Junit, Mockito, JMock
    • Experience in using build tools like Maven, Gradle and Ant.
    • Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills are mandatory.
    • Sound time management skills.
    • Good ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions.
    • Sound interpersonal and team working skills.
