Position:- Sr. Engineer/ Lead Engineer Vibration and Dynamics (NVH)Experience: 3 to 6 years Location:- CoimbatorePrepare, plan and execute compressor drivetrain dynamic analysis (torsional & lateral) of development projects for functional & reliability requirements.Responsible for development and validation of design proposals & solutions influencing drive train reliability by working together with the experimental NVH function.Develop design tools & methodology using principles of applied mechanics and dynamics for mathematical formulations and modelling of structural dynamic subsystems and mathematical solutions in MATLAB towards the prediction of dynamic behaviour of systems.Carry out dynamic design analysis of critical elements in compressors with various power transmission elements like couplings, belts, gears and other structural dynamic elements & provide optimized design for vibration and shock isolation designs of compressor packages for stationary and mobile applications.Provide implementable solutions from proven concepts and mathematical models within the boundaries of product development for design requirements on source & transmission control of noise and vibration of compressors.Support & provide design solutions for product development across proto refinement stages & design problem solving for issues concerning the reliability of compressors in production and in field.Execution of state of the art technology projects in dynamics from adjacencies through development and implementation of new concept / process as per business & roadmap requirements.More of a design engineer role Drive train design for dynamics - Rotors, Gears, Bearings , Critical speed analysisLateral Rotordynamics,Torsional drive train analysisGear whine chatter analysisMachine design / Gear design - macrogeometry, microgeometry,Transmission Error, Gear Mesh analysis, Torsional lateral analysisImpedance / mobility / Rigid body dynamics,Inverse methods, Vibration source characterisation -Blocked forces,Mathematical Modelling in MATLAB for dynamics, Hand calculationStructural dynamics & vibration based designs.
