Job Description

    Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities
    • Delivering best quality software with best software practices in place
    • Build, manage and mentor development team
    • Interface with our customers to understand requirements, set priorities and communicate direction and progress
    • Own all development activities and guide team
    • Provide technical leadership for every aspect of development phases
    • Manage the agile development process and methodology to deliver value to customers
    • Help develop long-term development and business technology strategies
    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree or higher in a technical field, such as computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline
    • Min. 7+ years of experience in developing software
    • Java/J2EE Certification
    Primary Skills:
    • Strong hands-on object-oriented programming experience in Java 8 / 11
    • Experience building web applications using using Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, REST & SOAP web services
    • Experience in Build Tools Maven/Gradle, Ant
    • Experience in Database SQL & PL/SQL
    • Experience in code repository systems - SVN, Bitbucket
    • Experience in Tools Eclipse, Postman, SQLDeveloper, SOAPUI
    • Experience in Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
    • Experience in Microservices development
    • REST API Development & API documentation. Using swagger will be a nice
    • Experience in using collaborative platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, Bit Bucket
    • TDD approach with Junit & PowerMock/Mockito frameworks
    • Experience in troubleshooting production issues using thread dumps, heap dumps, log analysis tools like Splunk
    • Knowledge on Quality Gates SonarQube
    • Experience in Testing Tools Selenium, TestNG
    Soft Skills:
    • Good communication skill & ability to work with multiple stakeholders
    • Self-motivated and self-organized, eager to learn
    • Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills to handle various critical situations
    • Experience in customer facing role
