Profile Description:This persons key responsibility is to build the next generation of BiG Data analytical platformintegrating multiple very large-scale data sources.Key Responsibilities:o Understand the business of Ugam and client needs in specifico Understand the functional, and non-functional, requirements and help define technicalspecifications for modular developmento Interact with customers, partners and vendors as and when requiredo Stay updated on the latest trends/ technologies for cloud enablement and evaluateplatform capabilities vis--vis the trends; plan the roadmap to incorporate the requiredfunctionalityo Involved in research, system design, prototyping, development, testing, benchmarking andcoordination across teamso Responsible for right design and development of multi-tiered, distributed architecture,scalable applicationso Provides guidance to project teams regarding architecture principles and standards,technology tools, system and application design, coding and design standards, bestpractices, and system performance and availability.o Technical assessment (e.g. platforms, tool proliferation, age of underlying technologies,uptime/availability, business processes)o Designs complex systems at the component level and directly supervises the quality ofdesigns and implementation within and between componentso Support and create a standard framework for development projects and a commonlibrary of re-usable components.o Participate in critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.o Adhere to procedures like communication protocols, operational practices / procedures,Information security practices, attendance procedures, etc.o Participate and actively contribute in review meetings.o Buddy up with junior members of the team and up-skill them
