Job Description

    Job Code : GITAS-3382-01 Job Title : Application Support member (TPC) Department : IT Application Services LEI Role Definition : Roles at this level are experienced professionals that supports application systems for a specific area. Key Role & Responsibility : Issues management/ Application support -Attends service level requests(L1, L2) within time -Maintains and troubleshoots the application systems ensuring minimum downtime -Participates in installation and upgrade of applications in co-ordination with infrastructure team and specialists -Monitors systems for usage and reports statistics to specialist -Contributes in testing of IT projects and documents feedback and improvements -Provides technical and user training to various stake holders for less critical applications -Implements processes as defined Documentation -Creates and maintains up-to-date documentation of technical and user specifications -Contributes in preparing test cases and monitoring reports to facilitate different business units -Creates project requests, change requests, status reports for business to review Additional Responsibility : Support numbers, level, complexity, response time -Output quality and schedule adherence -Documentation quality -Project contribution Education qualification & Experience : - B.E./ M.C.A./M.B.A (IT) with Minimum 6+ years of experience in application support OR - Diploma / B.C.A./ Relevant IT certification with Minimum 8+ years of experience in application support Technical Knowledge : -worked on document management system for minimum 4 years which includes hands on experience in supporting and troubleshooting Document management system and workflow -knowledge in Documentum WebTop, WebSphere, SQL -experience in working with users across the globe and have expertise in managing and supporting users for standard software programs -You understand Windows-based server infrastructure and network, AD, storage and are experienced in working with tools like JIRA, Lion and Seclore FileSecure,
