Job Description

Upskill your knowledge in Red Hat technologies using Red Hat University and support from the wider Consulting team to apply these concepts to customer needs
Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs
Work with key customer stakeholders to lead and advise as a subject matter expert
Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions
Learn about new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs
Adapt to changing customer requirements
Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner

Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field of study; equivalent work experience, or industry-recognised certifications, particularly Red Hat certifications, will also be valued and considered
3+ years of experience working in a consulting or similar role
Experience with or knowledge of infrastructure and cloud technologies, e.g., enterprise use of virtualisation or containers, disconnected environments, bare metal deployments etc
Strong awareness of modern application development practices and the software delivery life cycle
Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions
Good knowledge of at least one of the following - Bash Scripting, Python, Java, NodeJS, Golang
Knowledge of one or more of Red Hats infrastructure solutions like Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform or Red Hat Ansible Tower, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, or Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is a plus; experience with Kubernetes, Chef, or Puppet will also be considered
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or the willingness to gain this certification in the early stages of your career within Red Hat; Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) qualification is a plus
Willingness to travel according to project needs, following Red Hat s COVID-19 guidelines, working in a hybrid fashion, with a mix of onsite and remote working.
