Job Description

The Global Business Services (GBS) organization is key to executing this strategy , by standardizing our processes and centralizing our services.Assistant Manager IT (5- 8 years of Total Experience and 2 years of People Management experience) Job description Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the local IT team
  • Be the interface with business and meet the IT requirement
  • Be responsible for providing report of IT performance and ensure that the SLAs are met. Be able to identify performance issues and take proactive action to remediate
  • Ensure implementation and compliance to information security management systems. Awareness of ISO 27001 standard would be preferable
  • Be able to help and coordinate with global IT support teams in identifying and resolving issues as well as mentor local support team. For this , experience in the following would be preferred
    • Understanding of corporate network design , virtualization , backup architecture and disaster recovery methods
    • Experience in administration of Microsoft Windows Server
    • Experience in VMWare administration
    • Experience in backup software
    • Basic experience in network implementation or maintenance of switches , wireless network , VoIP telephony , video conference systems , firewalls & routers
    • Monitoring IT infrastructure for availability and utilization
Do capacity planning , budgeting and tracking Lifecycle management of IT assets Interface with hardware and software vendors and service providers to ensure procurement as per business needs You are meant for this job if you have:-
  • Educational Qualifications: BE / B.Tech / B.com / BBA/ BCA / B.Sc.
  • Good oral / written communication in English.
  • Willing to travel to different locations.
  • Ability to understand and interpret data for data analysis.
  • Ability to manage Incidents , Requests , IT applications etc through CRM tool.
  • Be able to handle pressure and be part of the solution in adverse situations
  • Be adaptable and work in multicultural environment.
  • Able to make decisions and learn from every situation.
  • Innovative , Solution- oriented , which will help us to solve complex problems.
