Job Description

    Core Purpose of the Role: A highly self-motivated individual having experience in in-vitro Bio-assays required for SARC (Syngene Amgen Research center) collaboration. In this position, candidate will support compound screening in standard in-vitro cell based and Biochemical assays. Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform in-vitro High throughput cell based and Biochemical assays to screen NCEs in cell viability assays, Alpha screen assays and TR-FRET assays.
    • Perform molecular biology techniques like RT-PCR highly preferred.
    • in liquid handling platforms would be an added advantage.
    • Analytical problem solving and trouble shooting skills required.
    • Good data management.

    • Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene
    • Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace
    • Wearing all PPE as required.
    • Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene s data integrity policies
    • Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times.

    Experience:
    • 3 to 5 years in industry or from a reputed Research institute
    Technical/functional Skills:
    • Experience in handling various cell lines, basic knowledge in handling critical proteins/Enzymes, Experience in using multimode readers would be an added advantage.
    • Data analysis using Graph pad prism.
    • Well versed with MS Office applications.

    • Ability to learn and implement new assays in cell based and biochemical assays
