Job Description

We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.Shape our customers digital strategiesAs an Associate Solutions Engineer, you will be an advisor to our customers on how they can leverage the Akamai platform and solutions. You will be the technical evangelist supporting customers with the adoption of our products and services. Youll play a pivotal role in showing customers the value of our solutions and closing the sale.As an Associate Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:
    • Supporting pre-sales activities within the APJ region
    • Understanding customers business goals and requirements, translate them to technical requirements and map them to Akamai solution
    • Performing demos and proof-of-concepts for proposed solutions
    • Closing deals with your sales partners and maintain on-going customer satisfaction
    • Supporting regional/global initiatives and projects in your specialized technical domain
    Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
    • Have good interpersonal skills and dedication to build customer relationships and satisfaction. Be able to write and speak fluently in English.
    • Have hands-on experience with building/deploying applications on public cloud, including but not limited to AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
    • Have good knowledge of Internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS and HTML.
    • Demonstrate problem solving skills. Be able to solve unfamiliar problems through proactive listening/clarifying, structured analytical and creative thinking, decision-making and teamwork
