Job Description

  • Under general supervision, the Automotive Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and service of automotive diesel, hybrid, and alternative fuel equipment. This is a Journey level position.
  • Physical Demands:
  • Work 8-10 hours standing, bending, stooping, reaching, walking and lifting.
  • Work in awkward positions under dashes.
  • Safely lift heavy objects such as transmissions, wheels and tires of various weights.
  • Manual dexterity to use hand and power tools and shop equipment.
  • Safely work and repair equipment located in cramped areas.
  • Work in awkward positions.
