Job Description

Back End Developer (NestJS, Node.js, Express.js),Full stack developer(Frontend + Backend development)Customindz is driving AI revolution for the construction industry.About The RoleCustomindz is looking for Back End Developer focus on NestJS, Node.js and Express.js Application development. While a back end web developer should be capable of working on any part of the end-to-end web application development, from backend applications to database development, you will also be considered if you show a strong proficiency in a specific domain with basic knowledge on the others.About CustomindzOur mission is to drive the AI revolution in the construction industry. We are a fast-growing startup based in Hong Kong, Shanghai and India. We are very focused on AI research and user experience.Last year we received funding and support from Alibaba and SenseTime for our product development, and now we are looking for our team members who will propel both the company and its products to new heights. We seek highly motivated individuals capable of scaling companies and contributing to challenging problems on the ever-evolving frontier of AI and construction industry.Primary Responsibilities

  1. Highly experienced with back-end programming languages/frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js and Express.js.
  2. Familiar with React, Python and C++.
  3. Design overall architecture of web applications.
  4. Maintain quality and ensure the responsiveness of applications.
  5. Collaborate with the rest of the engineering and product team to design and launch new features.
  6. Testing (quality and coverage)
  7. Code review and documentation
  8. Maintain code integrity and organisation.
  9. Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
  10. Experience and a basic understanding of computer vision and artificial intelligence
  11. Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  12. Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
  13. Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
  14. Understand how to avoid Callback Hell and nested if-else
  15. Knowledge of classes, constructors and dependency injection (services)
  16. Understanding of npm/yarn scripts and environments
  17. Basic understanding of deployment
  18. We value modularised and human-understandable code
  19. SQL and NoSQL
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science required. Preferably in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science but not limited if the candidate can show good track record as self-learning programmer
  • 4+ years of experience in developing the end-to-end NestJS, Node.js, Express.js systems
  • Knowledge of integrating multiple web services, systems and databases into one system
  • Good speaking and written skill in English and Vietnamese, if understanding Chinese will be a plus
