Job Description

The major purpose will be performing in vitro mechanistic studies (CYP TDI, Ki-Kinact, CYP Induction, CYP and UGT reaction phenotyping) to understand drug-drug interaction potential of new chemical entities and assist the team to deliver on its objectives.Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate should be experienced in performing In-vitro ADME assays like Metabolic stability, Plasma and blood stability, cytochrome P450 inhibition, plasma protein binding and blood to plasma ratio studies. He/She must have experience in handling of cellular and subcellular fractions such as Microsomes, Hepatocytes, S9 and Cytosol. The candidate must have good data analysis skills and written and oral communication skills. This role requires the candidate to take up some general lab related responsibilities like chemical inventory, instrument monitoring, managing lab safety. Hands on experience with automation (liquid handling systems) would be an added advantage.Educational Qualification and Experience: M.Pharm/M.Sc. with minimum 3-5 years in in-vitro DMPK.Technical/functional Skills: Must have:
    • Preparation of compound stocks, buffers, media and other materials required for In-vitro ADME experimental work.
    • Perform In-vitro ADME assays like Metabolic stability, Plasma and blood stability, cytochrome P450 inhibition, plasma protein binding and blood to plasma ratio studies
    • Handling of cellular and subcellular fractions such as Microsomes, Hepatocytes, S9 and Cytosol etc.
    • Hands on experience in other common in vitro ADME assays is highly preferred
    • Use of analytical equipment such as HPLC and (u)HPLC-MS/MS will be an added advantage
    • Monitoring of consumables stock levels in the laboratory and re-stocking shelves.
    • Contributing to process improvement and the sharing of new ideas within the team
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
    Good to have:
    • Trouble shooting ability, Good communication Skills-both written and Verbal
    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with other people
    • Good organizational and time management skills
