Job Description

Business Analyst / Project Manager

  • Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level, focusing on quality improvement and data management
  • Identify and develop process improvement, including re-engineering and recommending the elimination of antiquated processes
  • Integrate new systems and processes with existing ones
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and documenting business needs
  • Provide project-level analysis; produce required project analysis documentation e.g., business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, data flow models, future state proposals, test scripts, project plans, UAT plans, test plans, and change management plans
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during quality assurance process
  • Demonstrate a high degree of expertise in business process modeling and notation (BPMN 2.0)
  • Guide change management activities to communicate and enable business users on process and system changes utilizing formal and informal written communication methods and training methods e.g., emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, live or recorded training sessions etc.
Required skills
  • Self-starter with experience working as a business analyst or project manager on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
  • Experience with establishing, and contributing to process improvements
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
  • Experience in dealing with complex projects and multicultural and multi-disciplinary across widely diverse corporate management teams, as well as a broad spectrum of regional and global internal partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, analytical ability, and business judgment
  • Possess a healthy balance of business and technical background or experience
  • Experience working with or certification in any of the following methodologies is a plus: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PRINCE2, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Six Sigma, Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM), or Prosci certification(s), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
