Job Description

    Position : Business Development ManagerReports to : India Operations Head, Automotive Business SolutionsLocation(s) : Delhi NCR, Delhi (Working from Home Involves travel to Indian Tier-1 to Tier-3 cities for business deals)Experience : 4 to 5 years of experience in Marketing, Sales & Service function of Automobile Manufacturers / Distributors Duration : Full-timeQualifications and/or Equivalent Work Experience: The ideal candidate should come from one of two backgrounds:1. Experienced Business Development Executive for an agency that serves the Marketing, Sales &Service function of Automobile Manufacturers / Distributors. This position would suit someone who has been working in Presales, Sales and/ or Marketing activities in learning solution with a proven track record of sales achievement with 4 to 5 years of experience.2. While automotive experience is necessary, we are looking for a dynamic individual who can work across a host of industries including Pharma, BFSI, Insurance and Technology industries to offer Leadership learning solutions supporting our core foundation as workforce transformers with 4 to 5 years of experience.Summary: This position is to assist the India Management team in terms of learning solution development and account management of key automotive customers in India. It is also required to keep close contact with clients/regional managers/GP Strategies Global to coordinate business activities and solution development and implementation. Building up relationships with key customers as a business development role. This role also supports for business development in learning design, development and implementing, including digital learning. Candidates should ideally be well versed in the automotive industry, with an in-depth understanding of dealerships. Their dealership exposure can come through either direct working experience, field experience within a Manufacturer, or consulting assignments.Nature and Scope: The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for developing business with existing or new customers. His/her performance is measured against the following objectives and KPIs for the India business:
    • New learning solution including digital learning sales
    • New learning solution opportunities generated
    The Business Development Manager is responsible for all stages of BD Pipeline activity including:
    • Identifying new potential customers
    • Identifying business opportunities with new and existing customers
    • Customer proposal development, presentation, and pricing
    • Final negotiation and closing of new business
    • Initial project start-up and handover to operations
    • Ongoing customer relationship for opportunities of business in other areas
    Other requirements include:
    • Well-connected within the modern learning method and digital tools
    • Proven track record of winning new business
    • Excellent proposal writing ability, proven with examples of work
    • Bi-lingual / bi-cultural
    • Interpersonal skills and presence to communicate and influence at senior levels in client
    • organizations
    • High levels of numeracy and accuracy
    • Ability to draw out and analyse client needs, and creatively develop and sell solutions
    • Competent sales knowledge on learning design and development activities
    • Technology savvy- must have passion towards technology on modern learning
    • A self-starter with high motivation levels
    • Willingness to travel frequently within India
    • Adaptable and flexible in approach and leadership style
    • High energy, passionate and inspirational
    • The ability to be self-directed
