Job Description

    Job Title: Business Development Manager Solar RooftopLocation: Delhi/NCRJob Type: Full-timeExperience Required: 4-5 years in Solar Power Plant Sales (Private Sector)Education: Bachelors Degree in EngineeringJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales and growth in the solar rooftop sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, leading sales efforts, and maintaining strong client relationships to achieve business targets.Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead Generation & Conversion:
      • Identify prospective customers and generate leads to drive sales opportunities.
      • Proactively contact new and existing customers to discuss their solar energy needs.
    • Sales Strategy & Execution:
      • Emphasize product features and benefits, demonstrating how they address customer challenges.
      • Answer client queries, provide solutions, and ensure seamless customer experience.
      • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals successfully.
    • Client Relationship Management:
      • Maintain and update contact lists in CRM systems for regular follow-ups and relationship nurturing.
      • Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
    • Sales Targets & Performance:
      • Achieve order booking targets while maintaining required margins as per business plans.
      • Monitor and report on sales performance against targets and provide insights for improvement.
    • Market & Competitor Analysis:
      • Conduct market research to analyze competition and develop counter-strategies to stay ahead.
      • Identify project risks, analyze potential challenges, and suggest mitigation measures.
    Qualifications & Skills Required:
    • Educational Qualification:
      • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).
    • Experience:
      • 4-5 years of proven experience in the sales of solar power plants in the private sector.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Strong knowledge of solar project engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes and procedures.
      • Proficiency in using CRM software for lead tracking and client management.
    • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities and self-driven approach.
      • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
      • Positive attitude and adaptability to work in a dynamic market.
    Other Expectations:
    • Proficiency in the local language for effective communication.
    • High level of self-motivation and the ability to take ownership of the role.
    • Willingness to travel as per business needs.
