Job Description

Category Manager, InsurancePark+ was founded in September 2019 by Amit Lakhotia (ex Paytm, Tokopedia & Makemytrip). He has spent more than 10 years building significant size internet businesses. After passing out of IIM Ahmedabad, he joined at senior management level in multiple internet startups at an early-stage and played a critical role in scaling them to multi-billion dollar companies. At his last stint in India, he is credited to building the Paytm wallet from scratch. Park+ is funded (USD 12mn) by marquee institutional investors like Sequoia Capital and Matrix Partners and successful startup founders as Angel investors including the likes of Makemytrip (Deep Kalra), Bookmyshow (Ashish Hemrajani), Cred (Kunal Shah) and Snapdeal (Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal).The role entails- Driving a digital insurance product - Managing partnerships with brokers and insurance companies- Insights into product features and ability to make/understand user behaviour on the app- Drive product adoption, revenue and user acquisitions through all channels possible Who/what you are: - Self-driven and motivated individual- Consistent performer who pushes hard to get things done- Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment - Takes ownership and delivers - Adept at making judgment calls to move things fast- Fast learner What you need to have: - 2-5 years experience in motor insurance space- Understand funnel creation and maximization of a digital product- Have in-depth understanding of motor insurance landscape and regulations therein - Keen understanding of customers needs and how they discover, prefer and interact with services - Ability to challenge the status quo and think out of the box- Immense confidence to evangelize a nascent brand and project it with conviction- Excellent communication skills- Willingness to stretch on bandwidth and working hours if the situation demandsWhats on offer:- Opportunity to change how people look at their motor insurance - A shot at forging a product in a saturated space changing orientation from push to pull - Chance to be a part of a marquee investor-backed, fast-growing, dynamic and fun startup- Competitive compensation,
