Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance the companys mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth.Responsibilities* Take responsibility for the health and well-being of the company and its employee * Chair an executive team that successfully works together for the benefit of the company, and evaluate the performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives * Develop a strategic plan to advance the companys mission and objectives to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization * Approve company operational procedures, policies and standards * Promote the company through building and maintaining business relationships * Promote the company to local, regional, national and international constituencies * Direct company planning and policy-making committees * Develop a more robust Go to Market strategy for products and services in existing and emerging markets both domestically and globally * Grow and organize the existing sales, marketing and business development team to align with the Go to Market strategy and to achieve objectives and company goals * Expand the current domestic customer focus into a global footprint * Work in conjunction with the CTO and engineering team to develop product demanded by the market * Promote and expand the companys presence, with focus on generating sales and new business opportunities with existing and new customers * Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources * Plan, develop, and implement business development strategies for revenue growth and market penetration as well as expanding the companys global reach * Identify acquisition and merger opportunities * Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions * Present company reports to corporate leadership to include monthly status and annual business planningRequired Qualifications* 15+ years related executive-level experience with appropriate industry experience * An energetic, outgoing, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image * A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus * A well-organized and self-directed individual who is politically savvy and a team player * An intelligent, articulate and approachable individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
