The Job Profile: Programme Development and Fund- raising Desired Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coordinate with a diverse team is essential. Good knowledge of project development and project management. Good writing and communication, written and oral; in both English and Hindi Qualifications, Experience and competencies required: Masters degree in Management/ Wildlife Science/ Life Science/ Social Science/ Earth Science/ Conservation Biology or related subject from a reputed University/ Institute in India or abroad. Minimum 5 years work experience on conservation issues in India is required. The candidate needs to have experience pertaining to species conservation or landscape conservation with a strong understanding of human wildlife interaction management issues in India. Coordinate with the government and civil society partners for programme implementation through the landscape teams in the states. Coordinating with the team members to ensure timely submission and publication of reports, facts and stories in WWF India website, as printed matters, and in electronic and print media. Networking, Coordination and Communication Providing quality assistance to the Landscape teams for implementing Human Wildlife Interaction Management components in approved projects, and strategizing for long term HWI management work in the landscapes. Rigorously maintain a country- wide update on HWI management initiatives in WWF landscapes, and share lessons within WWF network. Regularly maintain updates on HWI management issues in the landscapes, engage with the local communities, administration, state government as well as the central government for addressing issues at policy level. Provide technical advice to the team for data analysis, report preparation, timely submission to donors and also assist the team members in publishing peer reviewed reports and papers. Analyze the policies of the federal and state governments that might have immediate or long term effects on conservation of target species. Programme Implementation and Technical Support Working with the Team Leaders and Landscape Coordinators of the Landscapes for strategizing and supervising the activities and bring about innovative ideas for further development of Human Wildlife Interaction Management strategies for WWF- India. Preparing quality funding proposals, and timely submission of those for raising funds to carry on strategic work in the landscapes, and broaden the scope according to the targeted resources available. Facilitate knowledge building and sharing among the different Landscapes in India and abroad. Working on any other issues or matters arising out of this area as may be within the purview of WWF- India. ,
