Strategic Sourcinga) Lead and formulate category sourcing strategy by conducting in-depth spend analysisb) Conudct Market discovery, Source discovery and Price discovery- Conduct RFI and RFP in case resourcing is required- Detailed Zero based costing and Activity based costing in order to arrive on Should be Cost - In depth analysis of Total Cost of Ownership to enable Go/No-go decision- Recomment proposal and seek approvals from designated authorities as per DoAc) Ensure availability of uninterrupted Supply base capable of meeting the cost, quality & delivery requirementsg)d) Continue developing low cost products/services and sources thereof which would entail to lower capex spendCost Control - Material and Servicesa) Monitoring Supply market, Raw Material Trends and leverae it suitably for cost reductionb) Lead cost reduction intiative such as New source identification, partner Consolidation, Contract re-negotiaiton, and Value Engineering etcc) Identify and introduce new domestic and global capable partnersd) Monitor and report value tracking for the category budgeted v/s actual savingsEnergy Projectsa) Represent SCM Point of View (PoV) in overall energy strategy/planning and align Sourcing Plan in line with energy initiatives of Indusb) Support Technology/Energy team in devising right products/solutions for the outcomes identified/planned under Energy initiativesc) Lead and formulate sourcing strategy for aforesaid products/solutionsd) Identify and introduce new domestic and/or global capable sourcese) Conduct RFI and RFPf) Conduct fact based negotiations with potential partnersg) Monitor delivery and ensure it is as per the schedule/planh) Support all Circles/Functions in implimentationAsset Integrity - Ensure Partners are complying with PM and CM SLAs- Ensure Partners are honoring the warranty claims, rectifying any field issues arising due to product faults on priority- Support R&R team for Refurbishment/re-utilisation of SMPS, PMS, Rectified Modules, DECM and revival of Battery Banks return from site and kept at warehouseProcessa) Ensure full adherence to laid down Sourcing policy & guidelinesb) Support external and internal Audits- Partcipate in opening and closing meeting- Explain and provide asked information to external & Internal Auditors- Ensure expeditious closure of identified gaps, if anyc) Monitor contracts, BGs etc, and ensure that they are getting extended well in advanced) Ensure partners are complying with statutory requirmentsBusiness Partner Relationship Managementa) Participate in key Partner relationship management activities such as Contract Governance Meeting, Partner visits, Partner Discussions etc.b) Ensure fulfillment of key requirements by partners from Indus (e.g. timely payments and advance information sharing)c) Resolve partner concerns through Payment Concern Room or Supliers concern Roomd) Ensure improvement in PSAT (Partner Satisfaction) ScoreEmployee engagement/developmenta) Ensure effective performance management by- Defining individual development needs (Trainings)- Motivating team to attend training, as per calenderb) Enhance team engagement through dialogues/interactions outside work environment such as Birthday celebration, Team outings etc., Minimum Educational Qualifications to perform this job:B. Tech in Electrical EnginerringKnowledge RequiredSorcing professional with experience in diverse industies. i.e. Electrical OEM / Oil & Gas / Telecom / ConsultingSkills / CompetenciesUtilise Sourcing stratgey for getting best of finished goods and services. Need to be a tough negotiator and should have awareness of contractual and legal terms and conditions.Relevant Experience (Functions, roles, duration)Should have minimum 10 years of exposure in sourcing automotive/engineering products in a system oriented companyHiring Pool (industries, specific organizations from where targeted)Electrical OEM/Tier -1 companies, Consulting organisation
