Job Description

  • Lead Ind AS engagements (implementation and statutory audits).
  • Perform audit procedures from planning to execution to completion such as perform audit testing, prepare audit documentation, prepare audit files, participate in the audit discussions, proactively booking review timings.
  • Review of deliverables under Ind AS implementation like Impact Study, conversion process and accounting manual etc.
  • Adheres to the firms audit methodology, Works diligently and ensures that the work is performed to expected quality and timelines
  • Flexible and adaptable to deliver in rapidly changing environment.
  • Coordination with client and maintain relationship with client team
  • Team building and leading a team for a Ind AS assignment along with presentation to clients
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting in accordance with CARO requirements.
  • Working in the statutory audit division the candidate would be expected to lead the field team in performing the statutory audit/Ind AS implementation and report to the manager/senior manager concerned.
  • Understanding and review of the internal control systems
  • Timely coordination with the client staff to ensure timely completion of assignment. Timely Communication with client as well as with the manager on issues.
  • Develop deep technical expertise around audit and accounting topics
  • Manage the audit engagements staffing, feedback and development
  • Implement high standards of quality
  • Anticipate engagement issues and take appropriate measures to resolve
