Job Description

KRA: Sr. Manager/Tech Lead position is responsible for delivery of the Product Development of Harmony. He/she will work on creating a very high performance and scalable implementation for the Product Development of Harmony, using the next gen technologies available in open-source market. He/she will lead a small development team of committed developers. He/she is also responsible for defining the technical roadmap & strategy of the platform, give direction to the architecture/design the platform & release it to our customers He/She will be responsible for understanding the business needs, current product offerings and identify common needs, patterns in problems which can be solved efficiently to launch the platform providing best-in-class consumer experience products to the market quickly. He/She will work closely with product/program management, business stakeholders, marketing and other company leaders to enable product teams to successfully go from early-stage product concepts to launch. He/She must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, fast-paced collaborative environment. Candidate should be able to handle a small technology team for execution in Agile methodologies. He /She should be responsible to Analysis, delivery, and implementation of CI/CD pipeline for one or more products and/or platforms. He /She should be responsible to Build, Release and operationally manage all services, including the orchestration/automation layer (Infrastructure Server and Compute, Backups, etc). He /She should be responsible to Building, configuring new product environments and automated tooling SKILLS: Skills and Experience Proven experience in building large, real time, mission critical enterprise applications Product Development of Harmony on open-source platforms. o Candidates must have exceptional knowledge of the Java 8 platform, especially in areas of concurrency, NIO, and collections. They must have strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms. o Understanding of Product Development of Harmony architecture and Domain Driven Design is an advantage. o Strong concepts in concurrency control and transaction management in distributed systems o Hands on experience in building, deploying and debugging of Product Development of Harmony applications in a cloud platform like AWS is a must. o Extremely hands-on and be able to help the team to debug and fix complex issues. o Be able to create POCs using emerging technologies. o Experience with NOSQL dataProduct Development of Harmonys (like MongoDB), cache implementation (like Redis or ehCache), Cloud implementation are very much desired. o Strong design and development experience using popular Node and Mongo DB is must. o Must have hands-on experience with popular JEE frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, etc. Candidates must be very comfortable using XML and related technologies. o Candidates will be preferred with experience in creating performing, highly scalable and distributed middle-tier frameworks, preferably using event-driven architecture and making use of EAI / SOA / JEE patterns. Strong analysis and design skills: Candidates must be able to visualize and depict any problem using UML models in most efficient and elegant manner. Previous experience in using UML tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Rational Rose Suite, etc. is an advantage. Candidates are expected to have experience with Agile methodology. Experience with performance engineering and tuning large and complex applications is desired. Candidate must be knowledgeable on key developments and industry trends related to Microservices using Open Source Platforms Dev-ops Hands on experience with design and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines using Jenkins. Must have strong experience with shell Scripting and Unix/Linux commands. Strong experience in GIT source code management tool. Good understanding of Gradle/Maven build tools. Knowledge of creating application container using Docker. Experience working with Cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, Azure etc. Sound knowledge in tools like Gitlab, nexus, sonarqube, jira, confluence ,
