We use smart, simple and fast technologies to help our customers discover a new way of using energy, all over the world.Job title: Engineer/Senior Engineer RTU Systems - Energy Sector IndiaThis role is for Java Production Support Engineer.Job responsibilities:Understanding requirements and project KPIs Learn and work on Scada protocols like ike DNP3 & IEC 104 Application installation on Linux and Ubuntu servers High availability configuration for application using Load balancers and nginx Support for administration, troubleshooting, configuration, installation, deployment, maintenance, upgrades on Cloud Infrastructure. Interact with development teams to ensure runbook documentation, test documentation, deployment plan is up to date Support deployments, rollbacks, application verification, Smoke Tests, and production tasks Support production maintenance activities, including code bug fixing Backup management Creation, management and migration of databases as per the requirements Maintain various deployment related tools and scripts on various environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod) Security monitoringKey Skills:Key skills:Hand-on programming skills on Java and SUSE Linux Strong experience on cloud computing. Should have worked on AWS particularly focused on Kinesis Data Streams and its usage through KPL (Kinesis Producer Library) and SDK Experience on Ubuntu will be added advantage Should have ticket management skills Experience of networking on AWS cloud: EC2, Network load balancer, VPC, etc. Experience on tools like Maven, GIT, Bamboo, Source tree, Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket, Putty Knowledge of DNP3 & IEC 104 communication protocols Basic knowledge of SCADA systems and RTUs is highly welcome Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMandatory: Full-time Technical Degree Flexibility on timings to ensure 24/7 service delivery Should be comfortable working in 10 am to 7 pm or 11 am to 8 pm with on-call support on weekends in rotation among team.Qualifications: Full-time Technical DegreeGender: OpenExperience: Minimum 2-5 years proven experience as Java Production Support EngineerMumbai based candidates must be comfortable for hybrid working.Job Location: PAN India candidates can apply but Mumbai based candidates must be comfortable for hybrid working.Notice Period: Immediate to 15 daysRelocation candidates: Work From Home (Mumbai based candidates must be comfortable for hybrid working.)About Morpheus ConsultingMorpheus Consulting understands the dynamics attached to talent acquisition, relationship management and the required service levels within the regional industry.
