Role: Product Engineer / Test EngineerResponsibilities: Take ownership of wafer and package level validation of Image sensors, application processors (AP) and multi-chip-packaging (MCP) products, on bench as well as on Automated Test Equipment. Debug initial silicon and validate design features. Determines root cause of problems (process or design-related) Characterize performance, provide inputs to datasheet. Support new product development activities related to product validation and production test Develop validation methods for novel device features and leading edge products Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define optimal characterization, validation and testing solution Participate in Big Data analysis, test reviews and yield improvement activities. Participate in yield analysis, generate & drive necessary debug actions to improve yield. Collaborate with test engineers to bring up offshore test house. Collaborate with application engineers & customers to enable successful system design. Work with reliability engineers to achieve successful qualification of products., *Requirements: Master s Degree in Electrical or Semiconductor Engineering related field Theoretical understanding of CMOS/Imaging manufacturing processes. Ability to understand electrical test equipment and work on Automated Test Equipment platforms Excitement towards working in lab environment. Working knowledge of lab equipment will be an advantage. Knowledge of Analog/Digital building blocks of mixed signal devices. Knowledge of DFT methodologies will be a plus. Knowledge of Statistics and inclination towards Big Data & Statistical analysis. Any hands on experience with any statistical analysis tools is a plus. Team player and willing to work with cross-functional teams in resolving product issues. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Programming in high level languages such as Visual Basic, C and/or C++ Scripting skills like Python or Perl will be a plus. Good interpersonal skills to work in a team environment. Good command of written and spoken English.
