Job Description

    • Manage materiality assessment process for ESG goal setting and reporting
    • Lead Red Hat s ESG data collection and reporting as required in accordance with established standards such as GRI, UNSDGs, CDP, and anticipated regulatory frameworks, particularly in the U.S. and E.U.
    • Project manage responses to key ESG surveys and customer inquiries in collaboration with internal subject matter experts
    • Conduct regular benchmarking on existing and anticipated frameworks, and identify and implement enhancements to ensure company policies and deliverables meet external and internal requirements
    • Participate in Red Hat s cross-functional sustainability working group to monitor progress against company-wide environmental goals and commitments, in collaboration with departmental working groups
    • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders to ensure consistent goal alignment, including ESG points of contact in the parent company
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and communications teams to review ESG claims and disclosures regarding Red Hat s products with a focus on accuracy and avoidance of greenwashing
    What you will bring
    • Bachelor s degree in Law, Finance, Environmental policy, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of corporate responsibility, ESG, and/or sustainability reporting experience, preferably for a globally distributed company
    • Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Exhibits comfort, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced environment
    • Strong oral and written communications; passion for impact storytelling
    • Proven understanding of ESG reporting standards and frameworks (SBTi, SASB, TCFD, GRI, Ecovadis, CDP, etc.)
    • Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting experience helpful
    • Open to candidates anywhere in the US or Canada. Eastern Time Zone preferred.
