Description Role: Finance ManagerLocation: New DelhiThe individual will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including business finance, corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures along with financial risk managementMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsEnsure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in adherence to accounting standards and standards of corporate governanceResponsible for planning, directing and controlling financial activities; working closely with CFO and senior managementPerform weekly, monthly review before the closing of books and share the knowledge with the teamReconciliations of below accounts- Fixed Assets registerMonthly reconciliations of all related accounts.Bank accounts / Flexi depositsAccounts PayableSalary registerMonthly Capex and Preparation of InvoicesCredit/ Purchase/ Travel cards reconciliationPreparation and reconciliation of ESI/ EPF/ PT/ TDS reportsWorking closely with the team and CA s for the monthly and timely close of books.Coordinating and assisting for Statutory Audit and preparation of financial statements.Preparation and Review of GST monthly returns/ Annual Audit/ Input reconciliation in consultation with the Big 4 consulting partnerGetting monthly updates GST refunds from GST Consultants and providing the support needed to expedite.Get updates from Income Tax consultants and report the sameProviding all the support needed for Transfer Pricing Study and related activitiesCo- ordinating with Banks for all matter related toDay to day transactions and resolving issues in a timely mannerHandle treasury reportingForeign exchange for a competitive rateCredit/ Purchase cards relatedCo- ordinate with banks and STPI for timely getting FIRC sPreparation and submission of monthly Softex/ QPR/ MPR/ APR(Delhi) REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of hands- on experience in dealing with Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Audits, Processes, Systems, and SOX Governance with an IT / ITES organizationStatutory Reporting Knowledge of Indian accounting standards / USGAAPAbility to develop and establish financial policies and procedures.Ability to analyse financial data and to publish monthly financial statementsKnowledge of all statutory complianceWorking knowledge of taxationAdvanced user knowledge in MS ExcelShould have prior working experience in any ERP financial systemStrong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed recordsAbility to communicate effectively both written and verballyAbility to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions What is CheggAn always on digital learning platform.Chegg puts students first Everything we build in this company is student- focused, making us the leading student- first connected learning platform.
