Our engineers share a passion for making things work in challenging environments and seeing the impact of our work first-hand.What you will doOwn all technical aspects of product development as assignedPerform hands-on architecture, design, and development of the learning platformFunction as senior member of an agile team and help drive consistent application development practicesTypically spend 80% of time writing code and testing, and remainder of time collaborating with stakeholders on ongoing product/platform releasesWrite code and unit tests, work on API specs, automation, and conducts code reviews and testingPerform ongoing refactoring of code and deliver continuous improvementProvide continuous support for ongoing application availability, scalability, and securityIdentify opportunities to adopt innovative technologiesDevelop deep understanding of tie-ins with other Harappa systems and platformsWhat you will needBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related subject from a premier institute2+ years of relevant work experienceExperience of developing Angular applications preferably in a startupFamiliarity with other foundational and MVC frameworks is a plus.Good grasp of asynchronous programmingProficient in RESTful APIs and API communications, especially to consume data for Web and mobile applicationsProficient in Test Driven Development (TDD) using Jest, ESLint, SonarQube, JMeter, and other industry standard toolsHands-on experience on npm, grunt, gulp, etc.Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript is absolutely necessaryGood understanding of Git.Node, Express experience would be great to have.Experience in cloud computing platforms, continuous integration, and continuous deployment is a plusGood understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patternsWho are youBe innovative and a creative thinker you are not afraid to try something new and inspire others to do so to improve upon solutions, systems, and processesHave a high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthinessHave a strong work ethicTake initiatives and work independently as well as part of a teamSkills:Angular, HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript
