    Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring forFull stack DeveloperAbout this roleWe are seeking a full-time engineer to join our engineering team, who will be responsible for developing Harappas next-gen EdTech platform.This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing tech savvy team, where you will play a major role in developing market leading EdTech products and shaping the future of learning.Were looking for exceptional candidates who are excited about the opportunity to build a next generation learning business.The incumbent should be passionate about building awesome products by utilizing cutting-edge technologies, which in turn creates value for learners globally.The engineering team at Harappa is agile and small, and everyone gets an opportunity to have their handson multiple products and technologies, while simultaneously finding areas to focus on more closely over time.This is a terrific opportunity to develop leading-edge technology products and be at the forefront of innovation to bridge the education information gap while getting exposure to the EdTech landscape and contributing towards Harappas mission to make the world of work better.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys small organizations, multi-tasking, and a highly flexible work environment.Our engineers share a passion for making things work in challenging environments and seeing the impact of our work first-hand.What you will doOwn all technical aspects of product development as assignedPerform hands-on architecture, design, and development of the learning platform Function as senior member of an agile team and help drive consistent application development practicesTypically spend 80% of time writing code and testing, and remainder of time collaborating with stakeholders on ongoing product/platform releasesWrite code and unit tests, works on API specs, automation, and conducts code reviews and testing Perform ongoing refactoring of code and deliver continuous improvementProvide continuous support for ongoing application availability, scalability, and security Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other Harappa systems and platformsWhat you will need5+ years of experience of developing Node.js, Angular and MongoDB applications preferably in a startup Strong understanding of Express.js. Familiarity with other foundational and MVC frameworks is a plus.Proficient in RESTful APIs and API communications, especially to consume data from and/or push data into MongoDB for Web and mobile applications Hands-on experience in user authentication, authorisation, and encryption:Passport, Bcrypt Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD) using Jest, ESLint, SonarQube, JMeter, and other industry standard toolsHands-on experience on npm, grunt, gulp, etc.Good understanding of Git Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patternsWho are youBe innovative and a creative thinker you are not afraid to try something new and inspire others to do so to improve upon solutions, systems, and processesHave a high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness Have a strong work ethicTake initiatives and work independently as well as part of a global teamRegards,HR Team
