They are passionate on being innovative and are committed to their promise of exceptional quality and service, now and into the future.The RoleThis profile would play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the business segment, departments etc. It would be. his/ her responsibility to ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, standard operating procedures, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more. A suitable profile would be an adept leader with strong business acumen and a knack for organization decision making, strategic thinking and collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning Develop and execute strategies to enhance export/ import operations, reduce costs, and increase profitability while aligning with the companys overall goals.Financial Management Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (with support from internal partners) Monitor cash flow and optimize financial performance related to international trade.Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Ensure adherence to regulations, laws and trade compliance requirements. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations and implement necessary changes in processes. Mitigate risks related to compliance issues.Vendor and Partner Relationships Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive overall operational efficiency Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly.Risk Management Ability to assess the environment, identify and mitigate risks. Implement strategies to address potential disruptions.Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of professional responsible for various aspects of operations and finance. People development and assistance of the entire team Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.Reporting and Analysis Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and KPIs to senior management, in partnership with current financial partners Conduct data analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost saving opportunities and future growth and investment plans.Continuous Improvement Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Candidate requirements Post Graduate degree in Business, finance or related field, ideal would be a CA/ CPA or an MBA with Finance major This is an ideal opportunity for 9- 14 years experience. Strong knowledge of regulations, compliances and financial principles. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to travel to drive business Sound knowledge of MS Office suite (proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
