Job Description

    Global Labor Relations Program Manager
    • Lead work to establish enterprise approach to global labor relations
    • Conduct research to understand local/regional requirements for labor relations, unions and works council
    • Establish framework for use by People Team and enterprise leaders to follow to ensure labor relation considerations are accounted for with respect to existing and new programs and processes
    • In countries without formal labor relations structures, establish framework to encourage strong in-country leadership and associate engagement and understanding of business decisions
    • Manage global works councils and unionization requirements in EMEA and LATAM within a matrix-driven US company
    • Collaborate with all global People Team, and other corporate, departments on compliance efforts for People Team programs in light of labor relations and collective labor law requirements
    • Create and maintain risk assessment tools with regards to labor relations and collective labor law topicsManage and mitigate risks by collaborating with all People Team departments globally
    • Create and conduct risk assessment and relationship management trainings to senior leadership globally and Centers of Excellence globally
    • Contribute to change management and enablement materials with regards to labor relations
    • Guide labor relations setup for company expansions into new territories
    What you will bring
    • Legal or law Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience working in compliance-focused HR roles OR experienced HR professional with affinity and experience in compliance and legal topics
    • Significant research and writing experience, including the ability to analyze data & legal information and arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
    • Understanding of global labor relation topics, trends and laws & regulations and their impact
    • Ability to build credible relationships / partnerships across multiple functions with international partners at varying levels of the company
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize shifting demands
    • Ability to respect confidentiality within the team and throughout the organization
    • Ability to influence and guide with analytical skills while seeing the big picture and being able to think strategically
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills in English
    • project management skills is a plus
    • Experience with work council management and union management is a plus
