Job Description

    Operations Responsible to Sr.AVP-Mfg. Job Purpose Manage Complex operations of A, B, C Trains with keen interaction with plant managers, and providing timely guidance towards achieving Business targets with respect to quantity, quality, efficient utilisation of raw materials, utilities, despatches, manpower and all available resources by ensuring safety, compliance to statutory regulation and management System manage and implement short term and long-term strategic business plans meticulously by identifying suitable process technology improvements, adopting sustainable and best practices in similar industry towards achievement of long-term Business objectives. Handle the related service departments like Mech, Elect & Instruments & improving preventive maintenance & reducing time. Strictly adhering to environment norms & improving the operations. To ensure training & improving the technical competency of the team members. Key Accountabilities Ensure Safety adherence & Environment compliance. Productivity, quality, efficiency figures as mentioned in the PD matrix are achieved through daily operations review meetings with plant, guiding maintenance/ utility departments and together taking decision on operation and maintenance matters. Assist Unit-Head in providing appropriate, Timely information to set stretch targets and achieve the same through innovative methods by launching developmental projects. Improve employee engagement and their competency by involving them in TQM, PSMS, and other initiative, training to strengthen organisation to achieve long term objectives of Business. Monitoring actual versus budget expenditure and take necessary steps to control expenses within budget. Provide inputs for Budget planning for subsequent year based on business objectives. Release of Daily production report to corporate and finance in time to enable them furnish data to Govt agencies. Accountable for adopting new technological changes and implement the best practices followed in similar industries. Ensure for safe work atmosphere Technical Qualifications & and Knowledge Graduation in Chemical Engineering Linguistic Proficiency: English and Telugu Personal Skills and Attributes/Abilities Can Do Attitude and focus on Team Working High level of Personal Commitment Results Orientated and Quality Driven Good at Time Management and Cost Conscious Effective Coordination Skills Job Experience Minimum 15 years hands on experience.
