Job Description

    Job description: Hardware and Network Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and widearea networks of an organisation to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include designing system configurations, documentingand managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.Key Skills Needed {Must Have} 1. Strong understanding of IT network infrastructure and hardwares.2. Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.3. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, includingwireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, Camara, biometric devices, controllers.4. Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.5. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation andinternet resources.6. Network security experience.7. LAN and WAN experience.8. Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environmentsincluding systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.9. Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing networksecurity measures.10 Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.11. Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.12. Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operatingsystem software.13. Coordinating computer network access and use.
