Key skills required for the job are: HP Servers-L2 (Mandatory) Server Engineer should possess capability for support for tasks, including but not limited to, installation,setup/configuration, troubleshooting, tuning,and diagnostic, system administration and maintenance of Servers and related equipment Co-ordination with other vendors of Purchaser to resolve Server hardware and software related issues Server Engineer should have extensive experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of IntelTM x86 and SparcTM based Servers. Should have in depth knowledge of Red Hat Linux, CentOS, Solaris Operating Systems. Should have skills and experience of Shell and Perl scripting for System Administration activities. Should have installed, configured and maintained large Clusters. Should be conversant with ITIL processes and Data Centre Management. Server engineer should have technical expertise to manage deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure , including but not limited to, administration of appropriate access protection, audit control, system recovery methods and procedures, prevention of breaches, awareness training etc Should be qualified as B.E. /B. Tech from reputed university. Should have a minimum 4 years experience as Installation Engineer and System Administrator on high capacity clustered servers. Preferably have RHCE Certification, It is a 6 days shift based role Roles & Responsibilities: As an Engineer, you are responsible for areas around Engineering, Global Infrastructure Services etc. You are expected to have a good practical understanding of technology and its application and be involved in implementation, integrated testing, debugging and documentation.
