Job Description

    Associate/ Assistant Manager Startup India Hub Team Incubator VerticalABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:- Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department of Promotion for Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.- Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, intended to build a strong eco-system for nurturing innovation and Start-Ups in the country that will drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities.- The Startup India Hub was announced by the Honble PM on 16th January 2016 and became operational on 1st April 2016. The Hub`s mandate is to serve as a single point of contact for the entire Start-Up Ecosystem and enable exchange of knowledge and access to funding.- The Startup India Hub team also provides mass facilitation in the form of a dedicated helpline, email and twitter queries. Additionally, the team also offers Bespoke / full-fledged facilitation to select Start-Ups which includes Business Plan / Strategic Advisory, Financial Advisory, Government & Regulatory Advisory and assist Startups with coordinating relevant stakeholder meetings in India.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Stakeholder management with officials, partners & startups ecosystem stakeholders- Responsible and accountable for ideation and end-to-end delivery of projects- Provide support to DPIIT officials for formulating policies, schemes, measures etc and address ad hoc requests- Handhold startups and Government departments in entrepreneurial subjects to create a conducive startup ecosystem and resolve queries in stipulated time- Support State and Central Departments in setting up new incubation policies and incubators- Conduct extensive sector-specific and industry research- Maintain and analyse data of Incubators in the country.QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelors degree or Masters degree (Public Policy or Development Studies / Economics or Management Sciences / Engineering from Premier Institute / International Relations will be preferred)- 1 to 4 years of work experience in Public Policy, Consulting, Partnerships, Strategy and International Relations. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in incubation ecosystem/in an incubator- A candidate should have problem-solving approach, data-driven decision making and strong project management skills- Excellent Research and Communications skills- Well versed with all tools of Microsoft Office- Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility of delivering key results,
